Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

Serre is built for sales teams that handle sensitive deal data. This page explains what we collect, why, and what control you have. If anything here is unclear, write to privacy@serre.app.

1. What we collect

Account information you provide directly: name, email address, company name, password (hashed), and billing details.

Workspace content: vendor profiles, value drivers, prospect data, business cases, and any documents you upload. This data is yours.

Usage information: pages visited, features used, error logs, and the IP address of your session — used to operate, secure, and improve the service.

Cookies that keep you signed in. We do not sell or share usage data with advertisers.

2. How we use it

To run the product: authenticate sessions, generate business cases, render exports, send transactional email.

To improve the product: aggregate, anonymous analytics about which features are used and where users get stuck.

To support you: respond to your messages and notify you about changes that affect your account.

3. AI processing

Several Serre features use Anthropic's Claude API. When you generate a buyer brief, narrative, or chat response, the relevant context from your case is sent to Anthropic for inference.

Anthropic processes this data on Serre's behalf under their commercial terms and does not train models on it. We never share your data with any other AI provider.

4. Storage and security

Data is stored in encrypted PostgreSQL databases hosted in the United States. Backups are encrypted at rest.

Access to production data is limited to a small number of engineers and audited.

If you delete your account, your data is removed within 30 days. Audit logs may be retained longer where required.

5. Your choices

You can export or delete any vendor profile, prospect, or business case from inside the product at any time.

Email privacy@serre.app to request a copy of your account data, ask questions about this policy, or invoke any rights you have under GDPR or CCPA.

6. Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we will email registered users at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
